Claire Howells has been appointed Executive Director of NexGen. Claire fell in love with construction after a mid-career switch to the industry. A NexGen Ambassador, she has been with the program since its inception. “I love speaking with career advisors and hearing about all the amazing events they hold so students learn about different career options and pathways,” she says. “I know I didn’t have that at school – otherwise, I’m sure I would have gotten into construction sooner! Being a part of NexGen and knowing we’re opening students’ eyes to opportunities they would never have previously considered is extremely rewarding.”
